apple.com
Like I mentioned before, apple is one of my favourite websites.
Minimalist design
When going onto apple.com, your eyes immediately know where to go as the website is not crowded with information. You see what the website is about right away.
Few colours
By using black and white as base colours and fewer colours overall this again let's you focus on the important things. Accent colours are kept in certain areas to bring out special features of new products.
Interactive design
When selecting a product and scrolling down the page, items float up and appear as you go. This makes the website feel tailored to you and like you have all the power. It gives everything a high quality feeling.
Mobile friendly
It doesn't matter, whether I look at it on my laptop and take a little more time to do so, or whether I do it on my phone on the go. It always looks good. I never have to pinch my eyes or zoom in on something, everything is always visible.
Comparing products
After deciding what type of product you are interested in (eg. iPhone, iPad, AirPods) you can actually select them to compare. This puts all the details and technical information into a table that makes it really easy to find the differences and ultimately find the product you want.
Navigation
The navigation used on apple.com is super simple. You basically select the type of product (iPhone, Mac, iPad etc.) and then it gives you further options. What model you want, what accessories and so forth.
You never look for the required item for too long. You find it straight away, get all the information and everything feels high quality and very personal.
Thank you for reading, see you next time.
